In 2014, I sense signs of a coup attempt, along the lines of the failed 1930’s Business Plot, which aimed to overthrow President Franklin D Roosevelt, installing a fascist dictator in his place, over the horizon
The idea finds its way into an article I am writing.
I email a copy to alternet.org in June 2016, and think:
“That’ll do.”
Then it’s off to the pub.

By the time October comes alternet.org have still not published my article. The earlier signs of coup are now dancing at the town gates.
By the time October comes, I’ve had too much to drink.
I peer out the window and spy a quintet of carol singers, on the market square by the Heaven’s Gate.
It’s Jim Jones, Infowars’ Alex Jones, Donald Trump, Roger Stone and Marshall Herff Applewhite Jr.
